A bit about me

I'm a QA Automation Lead & SDET specializing in end-to-end testing with Playwright, Cypress and TypeScript/JavaScript. At pdf.net I built the QA function from scratch and now lead it — working as engineer, manager and product partner at once: improving automation workflows, optimizing CI/CD, integrating testing into the SDLC, and driving the AI direction in testing.

I enjoy building stable infrastructure, designing selective test-execution strategies and mentoring QA engineers. Beyond frontend testing, I've also worked with Python and Bash — mostly for tooling, backend testing and automation scripting. My approach is driven by reliability, efficiency and thoughtful engineering.

  • Lead the QA team as the voice of quality across engineering; partner with PMs on new features.
  • Own the full hiring loop for QA engineers — from sourcing to final decision.
  • Drive the AI direction in testing: autonomous test agents, AI-assisted authoring, automated failure analysis.
  • Built an AI-driven staging triage with fix hypotheses — releases continue without reviewing every failure by hand.
  • Built eval suites for the product's AI features: extraction correctness, no hallucinations, output consistency.
  • Own features end-to-end, from design and implementation to testing.

Senior QA Automation Engineer

  • Built the product's entire QA function from scratch as the first and only QA — on a product with 500k+ MAU and 50k new paying users / month.
  • Designed the test architecture from scratch with TypeScript & Playwright; built a custom CLI for running suites.
  • Set up E2E + visual regression (Argos CI) with test management in Allure TestOps; covered frontend and backend.
  • Built CI/CD in GitHub Actions: parallel Playwright runs on staging + a daily release run before production.
  • Stood up staging & test infra on Google Cloud and Firebase; metrics, logs and E2E monitoring via BetterStack.
  • Automated regression from the ground up — the team fully moved off manual regression.
